Weekly Earnings Window

This page is the curated note for the current calendar — the same names as /earnings, written as a desk memo instead of a table. It is updated from the live feed. It is not a model portfolio and it is not a call on any ticker.

What this week is for

An earnings week is a sequence of scheduled uncertainty. The listed options market sells a slice of that uncertainty as a straddle. Our job on the public site is to show that slice as a percent, keep the calendar honest, and after the session we score, say whether the realized move finished inside or outside that slice. Everything else — targets, “must own,” sentiment thermometers that are not real votes — stays off the page.

The live window currently leads with UNH (UnitedHealth Group Incorporated) on Oct 13, 2026 · Before Open. That is a calendar fact from the earnings route, not a ranking of importance we invented tonight.

How we sit with the window

First we separate BMO from AMC so the session we will score is decided before anyone writes a recap. Mixing a 5:15 p.m. print into a next-day close without saying so is how desks lie to themselves. Our prior-report actuals already pick a session definition; the after-hours guide explains why the first screenshot you see may not match that definition.

Second we refuse to rank the week by a single implied-move cutoff. A mega-cap with a modest box can still be the tape that matters. A small name with a wide box can be illiquid artifact. Visibility and the existence of a usable chain both count. That is why the calendar is not “only names between 5 and 10 percent.”

Third we write the recap only when the facts exist. Inside and outside require a stored implied percent and a realized session percent. If one leg is missing, the briefing stays a preview. Gemini may edit sentences; it is not allowed to invent the percents.

What “curation” means here

Curation is not a bot that emits a new URL every hour. It is keeping the formula stable, publishing when the vendor stack changes, and walking the same names in prose that the terminal shows as tiles. The changelog on /about is the maintenance log. This desk page is the weekly reading of the window. Session briefings are the per-name notes. Learn pages are the standing instructions.

If you arrived from search, start with how to read a ticker page, then open one live name from the list above. If you arrived from X, the recap rules are on /learn/earnings-recaps. If you arrived to trade, this site is the wrong room — read the disclaimer and use a broker’s documents instead.
