How post-earnings recaps are written

Session briefings on this site and the public X recap are supposed to match. Same facts, same refusals.

The parent card

The first line is the name that people search — the ticker — then the session window (BMO or AMC). Implied range from the pre-event straddle sits above the realized move. If several names cleared the volatility bar, they stack under the lead. Chart or volatility-range image goes on that parent, not buried in a reply.

Inside versus outside

Absolute realized session move less than or equal to the implied percent is inside. Larger is outside. If we do not have both legs, we do not guess the label. That is the whole test. It is not a grade on the company and it is not a signal to fade or chase.

What stays out

No fabricated 50% bullish split. No “shockwaves” filler. No self-@ and no Commander Pro pitch in the recap body. One soft pointer to the site bio is enough on social; the briefing pages link to /t/SYMBOL and the methodology note instead.

Who gets a recap

Equity recaps run on session days when a name actually printed a large realized move or carried a large implied box and still moved. Weekend jobs do not quietly swap in a random coin. Crypto only appears in the earnings-weekend slot when the 24h move is large enough to justify a post.
