PRIVACY POLICY

LAST UPDATED: SEPTEMBER 6, 2026 // BATTLETICKER

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of battleticker.com (“BattleTicker,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, Commander Pro, emails, and related services (the “Service”). It should be read with our Terms of Service. This page is a disclosure document, not legal advice.

[1. WHO CONTROLS YOUR DATA]

BattleTicker is the controller of personal information we collect through the Service. Privacy and deletion requests: support@battleticker.com.

[2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT]

We collect:

  • Account data via Clerk: email, name (if provided), user ID, callsign / display name, public metadata such as Commander Pro status and trial flags.
  • Billing data via Stripe: customer ID, subscription status, plan, renewal/period dates, and limited payment identifiers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe processes cards.
  • Product data in our database (Supabase): ticker predictions, prediction status/history, streaks, and leaderboard display names.
  • Usage data: tickers you search or view, client logs needed to run quotes/charts, device/browser type, IP and approximate location as provided by our host (Vercel), and pages visited.
  • Support data: email and message if you submit a ticket.
  • Cookies and local storage: session/auth tokens (Clerk), UI settings (audio, theme, tactical toggles), and if enabled, analytics and advertising cookies.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank passwords, or brokerage login credentials. Do not send those in support tickets.

[3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION]

We use personal information to:

  • Operate the terminal, authenticate you, and remember settings;
  • Process Commander Pro trials, subscriptions, and the Stripe portal;
  • Run predictions, streaks, and the Pro leaderboard;
  • Send transactional email (receipts, security, support) and, for Pro subscribers, earnings briefings and recap emails;
  • Diagnose outages, prevent abuse, and secure the Service;
  • Measure traffic (Vercel Analytics) and, if configured, show ads (Google AdSense);
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers, and we do not rent email lists.

[4. LEGAL BASES (EEA/UK/SWITZERLAND)]

If those laws apply, we process data as needed to perform a contract with you (account, paid features), as needed for legitimate interests (security, product improvement, limited analytics) that are not overridden by your rights, with consent where required (certain cookies/ads), and to comply with legal obligations.

[5. PROCESSORS AND SHARING]

We share information with vendors who help us run the Service, under their terms:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity.
  • Stripe — payments, invoices, customer portal, tax as applicable.
  • Supabase — application database (predictions, history, related records).
  • Resend — outbound email (support, briefings, recaps).
  • Vercel — hosting, logs, and Analytics.
  • Google AdSense — advertising, only if ads are enabled on the site.
  • Market-data providers (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, Alpaca) — receive ticker symbols you request so we can return quotes; they are not used as a CRM of your identity.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a merger, sale, or financing of the project, subject to this Policy. BattleTicker-operated Discord or X accounts may publish public market commentary; they are not a dump of your personal account file.

[6. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADS]

Essential cookies and local storage are required for login and HUD settings. Vercel Analytics may collect privacy-oriented traffic metrics.

If Google AdSense is active, Google and its partners use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, limit, and measure ads. That can include personalized ads based on your activity on this site and other sites. Under some US state laws that activity is “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not place AdSense units inside the battlefield canvas or next to Subscribe / Manage-subscription controls. Ads, when enabled, appear on public content pages (learn, briefing, earnings, ticker explainers, about, disclaimer, and legal pages).

Google’s use of information is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and ad settings. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com and industry opt-outs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance. Our authorized digital sellers file is published at battleticker.com/ads.txt. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in. Blocking ad cookies will not stop the terminal from loading.

If you are in a region that requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will only enable personalized ads after that consent. Until a consent tool is wired, treat advertising cookies as optional and use the Google / DAA controls above.

[7. RETENTION]

Account and billing identifiers are kept while you have an account and as needed for tax, fraud, and legal records (often several years for invoices). Prediction history is kept while your account exists unless you request deletion. Support tickets are kept as needed to resolve issues. Server logs are rotated on our host’s normal schedule. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal data we control except where we must retain it.

[8. SECURITY]

We use HTTPS, vendor-managed auth and payments, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for your password and device.

[9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS]

We and our vendors operate primarily in the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may not provide the same legal protections as your home country.

[10. YOUR RIGHTS]

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, to object or restrict certain processing, to appeal a denial, and to withdraw consent. California and similar US state laws may include rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise rights, email support@battleticker.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify you. Authorized agents may contact us with proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. Stripe and Clerk also provide account-level tools for billing and login data.

[11. CHILDREN]

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and Commander Pro is only for users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

[12. DO NOT TRACK / GPC]

We do not currently respond to all browser Do Not Track signals. If we enable a Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out for advertising cookies, we will describe it here.

[13. CHANGES]

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be indicated on this page. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
